Experienced Business Leader, Nutritionist, and Chef Lara Karakasevic

Lara Karakasevic spent four years as the general manager of San Francisco’s San Remo Hotel. In this position, she oversaw a hotel-wide room remodeling project, the integration of new reservation software, and the re-opening of the hotel’s cafe. Her time in this position coincided with a 20 percent increase in revenue. Lara Karakasevic (formerly Lara Ann Castle) later owned and operated the Napa Valley Juice Bar, a full-spectrum juice bar that combined healthy drinks with regenerative health consultations.

A board-certified holistic health practitioner and living food chef, Lara Ann Castle has focused her efforts on The Living Food Mission since founding the regenerative detoxification and culinary wellness services provider in 2019. In her position as educational director, she leads retreats throughout Hawaii and other locations, with a focus on educating participants on the self-healing nature of the human body. She combines nutrition education with mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness.

Ms. Karakasevic studied living food cuisine at the Pure Joy Culinary School. She has also completed a regenerative detoxification program at the International School of the Healing Arts, and holds a hospitality management degree from the University of San Francisco.
